microsoft at it again! Home
Posted at 10:58 AM by Aditya

i've been playing around with this idea for a while now, so now i'm going to go ahead and act on it! i'll be adding gaming news and the latest info on stuff in the gaming industry for anyone who is remotely interested in this stuff!

if you haven't been living under a rock for the past few months, you would have heard the latest microsoft console, the xbox 360 just came out. ever since then, the worlds been in a turmoil. or atleast the US has! the problem lies in the fact that microsoft, trying to gain the advantage in the console wars, and trying to bite off a significant part of the market share for a visibly powerful machine, have shipped it just a way bit too early! say, 6 months too early! the result being that they've shipped faulty machines, and the ones who've received these faulty machines are all out crying to blood!

the article at igniq.com reads -

A Chicago man has launched a lawsuit against Microsoft, claiming the Xbox 360 has a design flaw.

Robert
Byers has claimed that the company was so intent on releasing the
console ahead of the PS3 and Nintendo Revolution that they effectively
shoved a "defectively designed" product out the door.

He specifically points to the power supply and CPU of the console, which he says overheat and causes the machine to freeze up.
now, this guy might be taking to the extreme. microsoft has already acknowledged their mistake, saying that the faulty machines comprise of just 3% of the 400,000 shipped and anyone who claims to have got one these 3% can call in at microsoft and tell them. they'd send him/her a box in which they can return the faulty console to get a complete replacement! its that simple! don't know what the fuss is about, really!

but this has been a tarnish on microsoft's already chinked armour! also, people on eBay are selling photographs of the console, touting them to be the machine, at kinda low prices! thats something revolutionary now, isn't it?

For more details on this news, head on to google news , and have a look at the headlines!
